We faced a troubling situation when the staff entered our room without permission, which left us feeling very uncomfortable. The lack of privacy made it difficult to relax and enjoy the stay. Additionally, the response from the front desk regarding our concerns was disappointing, as they did not offer any compensation for our discomfort.

The historical charm of the hotel stands out, especially with its Art Deco design and the rooftop bar that offers stunning panoramic views of the city. Breakfast features an extensive selection with a variety of local options, ensuring there's something for everyone.

The entrance lacks accessibility with steep stairs at one point, which can be cumbersome for guests with luggage. Some areas of the hotel feel a bit worn, and the housekeeping service was inconsistent. I returned to a room that hadn't been properly cleaned after a full day away. While the central location is convenient, the noise from the street can be irritating during the night. Additionally, issues with privacy arise in the glass-walled bathrooms, which might not suit everyone looking for a more secluded experience.

The rooftop bar was a fantastic spot to unwind and we loved the amazing views of the skyline with a glass of champagne in hand. Plus, the birthday touches in our room made the stay extra special, a warm gesture of hospitality.

It wasn't inexpensive, but I guess for what we got it was alright.
